Childcare services impacted as Mica starts to become nationwide issue

Mica is becoming a nationwide issue, and is starting to impact important community services.

That's according to Independent Donegal TD, Thomas Pringle, who raised the case of Ardara Community Childcare Centre in the Dáil.

The service is currently housed in a building impacted by defective concrete blocks.

Deputy Pringle warned that other services across the country could be impacted if the crisis isn't taken seriously by Government.

In response, Taoiseach Simon Harris acknowledged the gravity of the situation, and said that the government were doing all they can to deal with issues as they arise.
