A Donegal TD has slammed the Government over this week's shocking report on child poverty.

The ESRI report revealed earlier this week revealed that rates of child poverty have risen in recent years when housing costs are accounted for, from 20% in 2020 to 22% in 2023.

The data also shows that 230,000 children are experiencing material deprivation, an increase of almost 30,000 children since 2022.

Independent Donegal TD Thomas Pringle says the Government need to take responsibility:
