Fuat Koroglu is a Turkish hotelier working in the hospitality industry since 1990. He first worked for Kempinski Hotels for 24 years in Turkey, Dubai, Egypt (during the 2011 Arab Spring) and China. In 2015 he made the move to Wanda Hotels and Resorts, one of the fastest growing brands in China, as GM of Wanda Realm Beijing and later in 2018 he became GM at Wanda Vista Dongguan.
In our conversation, we discuss the traits and habits that make a good hotelier, Fuat's remarkable experience running the Kempinski Hotel in Cairo during the revolution, and the hotel industry measures of survival during the recent 2020 pandemic.
