Our guest is Jamie Lieberman. She's a lawyer, who says, "Don't stop listening because you heard that I'm a fun lawyer. I'm a lawyer. I'm an entrepreneur. I own my own law practice called hashtag legal. I am a mom of two boys. I am married to a lawyer."
What was her biggest challenge? She's wraps it up in one word - Identity. When you have your first child, your identity just completely shifts and changes. She went from being Jamie Lieberman, lawyer, wife, fun friend to what?? She went back to work after she had her first son and it was about eight months in where she decided this is not going to work.
Jamie had this identity crisis of, mom comes before everything when really lawyer came before anything. And all of a sudden thinking to herself am I going to be a lawyer? Am I going to stay a lawyer?
