The practice of meditation often gets swept under the yoga postures when the original intention of asana was to help us develop a practice of stillness. Today, we have at least 20 scientifically-validated reasons on the benefits of a meditation practice. These range from boosting your health and happiness to helping us with self-control and changing our brain.
