In this episode, Pa interviews her friend Carmelo Miranda about his educational journey from Compton to the University of California, Davis. Carmelo is a first generation college student who has years of experience in educational support programs. He is the MESA Assistant Director at Woodland Community College and is currently finishing his educational doctorate (EdD) at UC, Davis.
