The boys on the Bench finish out Dawg Bowl 11 with a bang! The boys welcome on President/player of the Warrior Avs Sled Hockey Association, Jerry Duvall. Jerry describes his harrowing journey from losing both of his legs in a horrific work accident to a daunting addiction to pain killers to finding new purpose and strength from sled hockey. After that Dan and Ross sit down with our outstanding “unpaid intern” Jan Hejda’s son, Mathias Hejda. Mathias talks about what he loves about Dawg Bowl and his future playing hockey. Finally Mike Freeman sends us off with an incredible recap of the weekend by describing his favourite moments of the tournament. This is the perfect way to cap off another fantastic year at the Dawg Bowl.
