Whether your celebrating a milestone in your life, a birthday, success, or New Year's Eve than these occasions call for a cigar! Not any ordinary cigar but a Rocky Patel Premium Cigar! That's right I'am talking about either the classic Vintage 1990 or the 95 rated "Decade". When you think of cigars Rocky Patel is a name that is synonymous with it.
But that wasn't always the case. It took Rocky 20 years of hard work and dedication to build his brand and become one of the world's best cigar aficionados.
I had the pleasure to interview Rocky Patel and talk about his journey of going from a Hollywood attorney to a rogue entrepreneur. He started out smoking cigars with his celebrity clients and soon enough he quit his lucrative career and started selling cigars out of his garage! He has a very interesting story because not many people leave a well paying career to go sell cigars for a living. Especially not if you're an indian guy in a Cuban and Latino dominated business.
The cigar business has been handed down through Cuban and Latino families for generations and they weren't letting any outsiders in anytime soon. Rocky changed all of this by not only partnering with one of the biggest tobacco seed growers, The Plasencia family but taking full control of the entire cigar making process.
Before everyone was hooting and hollering about Cuban cigars being the best but according to many cigar connoisseurs they are overrated due to the inconsistency in quality. Read HERE
