Just go ahead now! The Spin Doctors were known for being a jam band that originated in New York that won a sizeable audience with their ties to The Blues Travelers and their long, drawn out live shows. Once they got on their label Epic Records, the pressure was on for them to conform from their usual style and compete with the grunge movement that was shaping the music scene at large all around the world. Their 1991 debut album Pocket Full of Kryptonite landed in the hands of their fans and the local radios that played such hits as Two Princes and Little Miss Can't Be Wrong, and propelled the Spin Doctors into stardom. But the troubles didn't stop there. Join me today as we take a look at who the Spin Doctors are, the music that made them famous, the alienation on their own record label, and how they kept on going.
