In today's episode, we are joined by Lukas Kaestner, the Head of Marketing, PR and Events from Hamburg Aviation, a non-profit organization that supports the aviation industry in the Hamburg region. Lukas is also the Co-Founder of the Sustainable Aero Lab and President of the Crystal Cabin Award Association.
Hamburg Aviation is a non-profit networking and communications agency supporting the aviation cluster in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region – a key location in the civil aviation world. We will discuss Hamburg Aviation's Sustainable Aero Lab programs, which focus on developing sustainable technologies and practices to achieve decarbonization of the airline industry and reach the ‘Net Zero’ target. Lukas will explain the goals of this programs and how startups can get involved.
Known for its annual Crystal Cabin Awards which recognizes innovation and excellence in aircraft cabin design, Lukas will share insights into this prestigious industry award often referred to as the ‘Oscars’ of the Airline industry, the role it plays in promoting innovation within the industry and some tips for submitting your innovation to one of the eight award categories.
