Flavia è agronomo, specialista nel settore ortofrutticolo. Ha lavorato per l’Università di Bologna, per Zespri come direttore tecnico per l’Italia e per Chiquita. Flavia ha una lunga storia professionale con la Nuova Zelanda iniziata nel 1988 quando era venuta per la prima volta con un dottorato di ricerca sulla cultura del kiwifruit. Flavia ci parla della storia, varietà e specie diverse di questo frutto, di vari aspetti interessanti della sua vasta professionalità e delle collaborazioni in questo ambito tra l’Italia e la NZ.
