About Our Guest:
Hugo Eccles is a leading creative figure in contemporary motorcycle design, renowned for his striking designs and innovative engineering. Originally trained as an industrial designer at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London, Hugo worked for years as Design Director for international agencies IDEO, Landor, and Omnicom, working with clients that included Nike, Ford, TAG Heuer, American Express, and Hewlett Packard.
In 2014 Hugo moved to California and founded Untitled Motorcycles USA (aka UNTLD MOTO) in response to the nascent electric vehicle industry and the evolving motorcycle market. UNTLD MOTO specializes in strategizing, designing, and developing concept, prototype, and pre-production motorcycles for startups, early-stage companies, and marquee brands such as Ducati, Triumph, Yamaha, Zero, and Harley-Davidson.
Alongside his activities at UNTLD MOTO, Hugo is also a founding partner of the Bike Shed Moto Co, a design professor, a writer, and a curator. His work regularly garners numerous design awards and has been featured extensively online, in blogs, print media, television, and Hollywood movies.
