Jessica Maguire is a trauma-informed physiotherapist, passionate about helping people regulate their nervous systems through healthy functioning of their vagus nerve. She holds a degree in Health Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy and has spent over 14 years in private practice as a physiotherapist. In this episode, we cover how the brain and nervous system change from stress, trauma and chronic pain, as well as the relatively new research around the relationship between gut health and the nervous system.
