We interview Dr. David Smith (Dr. Dave) MD, ACP, BS (Chemistry), Board Certified (Internal Medicine Specialist). He is the inventor of the Q-Collar and author of the new book "When Heads Come Together" which outlines the journey to solve many longstanding scientific mysteries, including the elusive scourge of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) that endangers contact sports and the brains of our warfighters.

Dr. Dave shares his story and explains how his invention the Q-Collar helps protect the brain from the damage caused by repetitive head impacts that can alter brain tissue. Findings have shown that athletes who were not wearing the Q-Collar were three times more likely to have significant changes in their brain tissue. This device is the only device to have been cleared by the FDA to make the statement that it blocks brain injury.
