Maxime Du Champ - Le Sphinx, Egypt Moyenne 1849

Welcome to the Outerfocus Podcast!

This week’s episode we welcome Edoardo Morina from Italy he talks to us about how and why he went from finance graduate to shooting weddings. We also hear how he is currently exploring colour photography and a little about the time he is currently spending in Mumbai. Additionally, we hear about the joint venture Ian and Edoardo embarked on last year ‘ I Am Not A Wedding Photography’ including how it started, why and what it is.

Maxime Du Champ takes the spotlight for our history of photography slot. Known for being the first in travel photography, as well as the first to produce a book of photographs. We discuss what he brought to the world through photography, his work, his connection to Gustave le Gray and the process he embarked on to produce the work he’s known for.

To finish we take a look at the good and bad in the industry today. Ian and Edoardo discuss competitions whilst Bradley tells us what book he’s into at the moment.
