Welcome back to Episode number Two of the OUTspoken Leaders Podcast. OUTspoken Leaders is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving and empowering all LGBTQ+ Youth, Young Adults, and Future Leaders. We currently offer Weekly Discussion and support groups in the Chicagoland Suburbs, Online resources for members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as their friends and families, and now we offer this podcast to bring the stories of Leaders and other influential members of the LGBTQ+ community! In this week's episode we got the chance to chat with Ryan Amador. Ryan is a singer, songwriter, performer, theater maker, activist, and co-founder of The Future Perfect Project. We had a great time chatting with Ryan and hearing his story. One of the things that was so amazing about Ryan was his humility, I present you somebody who has done a lot for the LGBTQ+ community and doesn't think that he has. My favorite part of the episode was talking about activism with Ryan. One of the things that I find rings true is that activism comes in many shapes and forms; you don't always have to protest some great injustice to be an activist, sometimes just telling your story is activism. We want to thank Ryan again for being open about sharing his story with us.
