Tiffany O'Donnell talks to Shellye Archambeau, one of high tech's first female African American CEOs. In her book, Unapologetically Ambitious, Shellye shares her story of growing up an ambitious Black girl in the racially charged 1960s and 70s. She recounts how she overcame the challenges she faced as a young woman, wife, and mother, managing her responsibilities while climbing the ranks at IBM, and brings readers on a wild ride through the busts and booms of Silicon Valley in the early 2000s, detailing the risks she took and the strategies she engaged to steer her family, her career, and her company, MetricStream, toward success.
On today's episode, Shellye talks about what inspired the name of her book, the Imposter Syndrome, and what makes her a unique leader.
