After taking drugs at an early age Jameson thought that he would always be a drug addict. Drugs brought immediate relief to his pain. Things that are addicting can be pleasurable, but they can also provide cover and distraction from serious underlying problems.Connection is one of the biggest solutions and isolation is never the answer.

Jameson Hedin is a clinical social worker based in Utah currently working in the addiction treatment industry. He’s passionate about mental health psychotherapy and providing treatment for emotional trauma from substance abuse.

For the past 10 years, his work has been focused on helping people recover from substance abuse and find meaning in their lives. Now he is on a mission to empower other fellow humans to uncover the light that shines within all of us.
