All of the inspiration to this song came from documentary about the life of Liberace.
In fact, I never heard of him before - just the name there and then. But now I learned about the way he rose to stardom, the way he played the piano and the way all the people turned to or away from him. That was very impressive. And that is why the piano has such a leading role at the beginning and throughout this song, because after watching the documentary I ended up sitting in front of my own piano writing this song. I really did.
