Emerson Zelaya, born in January 1990, is a Honduras native. He grew up living with an aunt until he was 13 yeas old, then moved around family member homes until his dad was able to get legal status in the US. He arrived in the US at the age of 16 with no knowledge of the English language. His first job was in construction working 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM where he would then attend night school to learn English. After becoming more fluent with the English language he sought after a better job. He is now purchasing manager for one of the biggest health providers in the state of Florida.
After moving around from home to home, Emerson has now decided to embark in the journey of bettering himself mentally, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. He strives to read a book a book a week which he has successfully accomplished for the last 7 months. Titles including: The Compound Effect, Think & Grow Rich, The Richest Man In Babylon, The Game of Life and How to Play It and The Legacy Journey.
