Filled with heartbreak after the sudden death of her beloved father, young Peg moves to Hollywood with hopes of becoming a big movie star. While she gets tiny parts here and there, her first major role is suddenly taken away from her, leaving her depressed and feeling as if her dreams had been stolen from her. She takes her own life, jumping from the H of the then Hollywoodland sign. She is believed to haunt the area to this very day.
