Yassine is a veteran of the ultra running scene with over 80 finishes to his name. Beyond the results, Yassine is the co-founder of Wy’East Wolfpack, a thriving training and coaching business based in Portland, OR. He is also a husband and father to his seven year old daughter.
In this episode we dive into Yassine’s recent experience at the 2018 Mount Baker Marathon. The 55 mile race is run over glaciers to to the top of a 10,000+ft volcano and back down to sea level. To make it to the finish, he battled injury, a big storm on the mountain, frozen gear and hands, and thoughts of dropping out.
