8-3-2021 Passed Ball Show. John opens up this show by talking about the most vulnerable teams in MLB as we hit the final two months of the regular season. He feels that the New York Mets are in trouble and that it is time for the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies to make a push for a playoff berth. John talks about why it might have been best for the Seattle Mariners to not be aggressive at this year’s trading deadline. He also compares their projected offensive core to one of the greatest of all time. John compares the big three of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook to the greatest threesome in the history of the National Basketball Association. Then he makes the obvious point about Westbrook being judged as a winning player based off of what eventually happens in LA. Finally, John takes on the lazy discussion that is had each year when it comes to Super Bowl teams meeting in the Super Bowl the next season, something that has only happened how many times?
