I sit down and speak with Dawn Miller, Speaker, Trainer and Coach. Our conversation takes us on a journey on why and how people travel. Dawn's deep appreciation for the Caribbeans and Caribbean music has taken her on many journeys and most if not all have been as a solo traveller.
We talk about travelling on a budget and not staying at 5-star resorts but immersing oneself with the locals by staying at guest houses or sharing space with like-minded travellers by staying in hostels. Dawn tells how hosts at the guesthouse have gone out of their way to show her the sites and even take her to the airport.
Dawn speaks highly of St. Lucia and the Dominican Republic as some of her favourite Caribbean destinations.
