Apostle Paul's journey to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ in Acts 25-26 meets with more vicious onslaught from weak and corrupt church and government officials. While the Apostle was presented with an option to go free from his unsubstantiated incarceration, he chose instead to step further into the fire and requested an audience with Caesar, the ruler of the Roman Empire. Pauls's unwavering desire to follow Jesus, the Light of the world, is a great model for modern-day Christians, as we strive to bring God's Light into a dark and broken world.
