Learn what many people are getting wrong about exercise! Listen to this episode with Catherine King, who was named top fitness trainer in Canada by Impact Magazine in 2020 and 2024. In this episode, we cover the topic of exercise, mental health, motivation, mindset, misconceptions and trends in fitness.
Catherine is a practicing Kinesiologist with a Master of Science degree in Strength and Conditioning from the University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from University of British Columbia.
She is double certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Certified Personal Trainer with Distinction; working with both athletes and general population of all levels, abilities and capacities. She also gives back to her profession by serving on two committees for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), including the work she did to diligently initiate and launch a women’s mentorship program in 2023 to support females in a male dominated industry. She recognizes that health and fitness are a lifelong pursuit.
