Deborah Pfingston shares of her loss. She lost her son, Andrew Sterling Ashcraft, on June 30th, 2013. He was a wildland firefighter and lost his life along with the crew of the Granite Mountain Hotshots. It was a very public loss. But that is not what she shares here. Deborah shares a short story when her faith was put to the ultimate test. Is heaven for real?

Deborah's story was part of a video series done by Melodee Tonti - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DVM94otG0D0&feature=youtu.be. Please take the 20 minutes to watch. This video is beautifully done and you will understand more of what a parent deals with when they lose a child.

The loss never ends and never stops hurting.
