In this edition of Perchcast, we're joined by 1989 CAA Player of the year Trent Mongero, and his son, Taber Mongero, who we'd love to see become the 2022 CAA Player of the Year. Taber, after winning a high school championship on his father's team, began his college career elsewhere before fulfilling his dream of becoming a Seahawk. We discussed the father-son coaching relationship, how UNCW has changed since Trent played for Bobby Guthrie and the long road that brought both to Wilmington.
