If we are talking about the disconnected world we live in, body image and loving yourself more in photos then we need to talk about diet culture and fat shaming.

I started listening the the “Go love yourself” podcast - go check it out I talk about it a lot in this episode. After listening to the episode when they talk about their story I felt like I wanted to contribute to the conversation.

These girls believe that the way you look is the least interesting thing about you.

We are all on a journey and at different parts of it. My experience after having kids and getting older and my experience with diet culture and self fat shaming and never been happy with my weight and looks.

We are all worthy regardless of what we look like, our weight, our disability… all the things.

I speak about my recent journey with my mindset nutrition coach Caroline Silk.

I speak towards the end of the episode of my friend Amy Hughes and the Heart Centered Creative

Self acceptance is a good place to start and questioning why we believe what we do about ourselves.
For generations, we have been inundated with messaging that there is a “right” way to eat. Most of which is not founded its just marketing to sell diet culture and processed food made cheaply to maximise profits.

No matter your size the bleak harsh truth is you’re probably not happy with your body whether you live in a larger body or tiny body. Remember THIS next time your judge someone or YOURSELF and start to be the change to this awful narrative.
