In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple Double") are back in studio with UCLA transfer safety Kamari Ramsey joining the show. The talented redshirt sophomore started 11 games for the Bruins last season, recording 40 tackles including 2.5 for loss, 5 pass breakups and one interception. The 6-foot, 204 pound Ramsey brings good production and experience in new defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn's defensive system.

The guys talk to Ramsey about his experience as a starting safety last season, working closely with Lynn, what went into his decision to transfer across town, how spring practice went for him and lots more.

They also discuss the breaking news that Reggie Bush had his Heisman Trophy returned, giving USC 8 Heisman Trophies, the most of any program.

After the interview Ryan and Connor recap USC's spring game from Saturday where the defense got the better of the offense including four interceptions including a 100-yard pick six. They discuss what they learned on both sides of the ball from watching the game and where they think Lincoln Riley needs to add talent to compete in the Big Ten next season.

The interview with Kamari Ramsey was conducted in conjunction with House of Victory, an alumni-backed nonprofit collective dedicated to providing a competitive edge in the NIL space for University of Southern California student-athletes.
