Some experts are concerned there’s an increasing number of processed meat-based snacks being marketed as ‘high protein’ and good for kids' lunchboxes.

They say processed meat is classified by the WHO as a Group 1 carcinogen (known to cause cancer) and shouldn't be marketed as a good snack for kids.

But Nutritionist Fiona Kane told Oly Peterson on Perth Live moderation and balance is more important.
