University of Tennessee-Knoxville Percussion Professor and Founder and Music Director of Nief-Norf Andy Bliss stops by to talk about getting the UTK job late in the first semester and the challenges of taking over (02:30), getting his system in place, installing group applied lessons, and the transition into a School of Music there (17:50), and talks about the beginnings of Nief-Norf, the importance of Entrepreneurship, and discussions of musicianship and storytelling (42:10).
