Upping Your SoTL Game & Tapping into Intrinsic Motivation
Manage episode 416980694 series 3013017
On the heels of March Madness (the NCAA College Basketball Tournament) and the Spring Rx Writing Challenge, the Fika Crew talks with Zachary Noel, PharmD, PhD, BCCP—Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy—about his recently published paper on ungrading individual readiness assessment tests (iRAT) and its impact on student performance and motivation in a team-based learning course. We then go on tangents to discuss how to become a better education researcher, the keys to enhancing the rigor of SoTL efforts, and our personal motivations to persist.
