  • A viral video and a tip call led Pennsylvania SPCA Animal Law Enforcement to the West Philadelphia home of a man who allegedly abused an 8-month-old dog. KYW’s John McDevitt reports the dog was rescued and is up for adoption.
  • A Bucks County judge finds the man accused of killing and beheading his father is mentally competent to stand trial. KYW Suburban Bureau Chief Jim Melwert reports.
  • Speeders and red-light runners, beware. Philadelphia police are launching another effort along two busy stretches in the southwest and northeast parts of the city, to try to make the streets safer. KYW's Mike DeNardo reports.
  • A Jeep crashed right into a 7-Eleven in the Northeast on Bustleton Avenue. KYW's Tim Jimenez has more from Oxford Circle.
