The state Court of Judicial Discipline has suspended a Philadelphia Family Court judge for posting content on social media that reflected his opinions on some matters of public interest. It’s the first case in the state to set limits on what content is appropriate for a judge. The nation's largest supplier of intravenous fluids has been rationing shipments to hospitals through the country, including to our region, after its North Carolina manufacturing plant was damaged during Hurricane Helene. Mayor Cherelle Parker got a look at one of her signature initiatives in action on Tuesday afternoon, touring the extended-day school programs at Southwark School, a pre-K to 8th grade school in South Philadelphia.
