PiCast Episode 21 - WonderCon 2016

Scott and Brittany recap their weekend at WonderCon 2016 in LA. We cut back this con from3 days to 2 and yet there was the same last minute Con Prep stress! We talk about having to put all your stuff on a Bell cart at the Sheraton and how the alternate title to this episode is “I'm not carrying your Sh*t!”

We talk about Scott’s shameless promotion of the PiCast with Ribbons, Easter Eggs, and Scavenger Hunts.

Our Cosplay this year was Howard and Bernadette from the Big Bang Theory and Dr. Horrible and Penny from the Singalong Blog.

We revisit some of our favorite artists from Comikaze and meet a few new ones. Including: Kimber from @Kimberlandart The PiCast’s biggest fan! Food Pun illustrator, Michael Stiles, @Stiles1978 The Little Golden Book and Album Cover artist JoeBot, @JoeySpiotto . Parks & Rec Illustrator, JaseyCowl.com , and even @Hawkster from QMX!

We ask the question How may Funko Pops is too many and how much Loot Crate Loot is too much?

We talk about the Nerdist Panel and meeting the Nerdist team for a photo op on the con floor. And the Highlight of Wondercon, Scott’s Beard Rub with Chris Hardwick!

And we close with a discussion of the cosplay, the Convention center, and RFID tags.
