Kate Jacewicz has refereed them all. As a 12 year old, she stepped in to save the day at her brother's game at the Mudgereeba Junior Soccer Club when officials failed to show. Since then, she's gone on to referee in all ten seasons of the W-League and at the final of the Under 17 FIFA Women's World Cup. We talk to Kate about the laws of the game that don’t make sense, managing cocky players and what it’s really like being the only one out there with a whistle.
