Chreece is coming up this weekend, so we're excited to share this special interview with festival director Jane Sun Kim.
Before Jane Sun Kim started taking photos at the Chreece hip-hop festival in Fountain Square in 2018, her plan was to become a doctor. Now, six years later, she helps make Chreece possible as the festival’s director.
Mirror Indy's Ariana Beedie and Breanna Cooper speak with Sun Kim about her favorite local place to dance, her vision to make Naptown hip-hop more inclusive, and her journey from chemistry student to pulling off one of Indy’s largest music festivals.
