Today, we're talking about investing in your life. This is part of the 20-week challenge on how you can build your resilience in 2023. The goal is to make it so that you bend like a willow in strong winds versus breaking like an oak when things get tough. We are now on lesson 14, so let's get started.

When do I suggest this lesson?:

  • Whenever I hear my clients talking or valuing things over experiences.

  • Whenever I hear a theme of them observing rather than participating and

  • When they ignore the value of time, and I think, ugh, this sounds like they're coasting.

They're taking the path of least resistance, that there's a lot more opportunity out there for them.

So what can they do to invest in themselves?

We are our most significant investment. It's not our home. It's not our car. It's not the balance in our 401k retirement plan or our stock portfolio. It's really ourselves because we are the only thing that continues with us constantly throughout the duration of our life. Cars come and go. Homes come and go. Retirement balances certainly dive up and down based on the whims of the stock market. And so we really want to invest in ourselves.

Don't Forget:

- Rising tide lifts all boats.

- Grow together

- Theme sheet at our site

And that's it for this week. I hope you found these tips helpful.
