In a dystopian future New York, a computer enslaves the human race and is slowly erasing all emotions. Lemmy Caution, a hard-boiled detective investigates the situation. Based on Godard's Alphaville, it is a deconstructed media arts piece in short episodes. The piece is non-linear and will be presented as a video installation work when it is completed. Music by Bram Barker, Johan Van Barel, G.H. Hovagimyan, Stefan L. Smith. Plazaville is a 2009 commission of New Radio and Performing Arts, Inc., (aka Ether-Ore) for its Turbulence web site. It was made possible with funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
