The Baylor Bears are 1 win away from a 10 win season after dominating the Kansas State Wildcats. The final score of 20-10 does not tell the full story of this one. Aside from one 65 yard run the Bears didn't give the Wildcats any room to breathe.

Travis opens this episode talking about the potential of Baylor making a 2nd Big 12 Championship appearance in 3 years. There were several different scenarios that could have landed the Bears in the Conference Championship, but now we have a clear cut answer. Beat Tech and hope the Pokes pull it out against the Sooners.

Gerry Bohanon went down with a hamstring injury in the closing minutes of the 1st half, but redshirt Freshman QB Blake Shapen stepped in beautifully leading the Bears to a FG before half and crushing the Wildcat's momentum. Travis updates us on Bohanon's injury and compares and contrasts the strengths and weaknesses between the two QB's. Travis believes Shapen can lead us to a Big 12 Championship if given the chance.

We then break down what made the win over a very good Kansas State so dominant. They've flown under the radar this year, but had they won they would have had the same record as the Bears. As we know now, that didn't happen, and the advanced statistics tell a different story than the final score.

Next we'll preview the BUTT bowl as the Bears have an excellent opportunity to reach 10 wins on the season on Senior day in Waco. We could see a few QB's play for Tech, but Travis believes the defensive game plan should stay fairly similar regardless of who is under center for the Red Raiders.

Finally Travis wraps up this episode with what Jalen Pitre, "The One Who Stayed", has meant to Baylor University. Also his thoughts on this special group of Seniors who decided to stick around when Aranda came to town, and we can't thank them enough.
