Baylor gets its first win in Lubbock since 1990 this past weekend defeating the Red Raiders 45-17. We were told we should "Fear the Dark" in Lubbock, but in the end it wasn't very scary. The Bears intercepted 3 different QB's 5 total times in route to a big win and now are just 1 win away from bowl eligibility.

Paul Catalina of SicEm365 joins Please Bear with Me this week and we start this week's episode discussing the new TV deal signed by the Big 12 and ESPN/FOX. Paul thinks this is a positive step forward for the conference and Travis praises new Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark for an impressive few months in his new position. After much talk of the Big 12 ending it seems as if that is all but a fairy tale now.

Then the conversation turns to a recap of the Texas Tech game. Paul discusses how this was by far Baylor's most complete game of the season and the maturation of the team. He also thinks the Bears will continue to lean on Richard Reese heavily if Sqwirl Williams and Taye McWilliams continue to be out.

Finally we turn our attention to Baylor's 2nd road game in a row as they travel to Norman to take on the Oklahoma Sooners. The pair feel confident in the Bear's chances, but road wins are hard to come by. This OU team might not be what they once were, but they seem to be turning a corner and finding an identity.

Kickoff is at 2pm CST on ESPN+ so if you aren't a subscriber start reaching out to friends who are. You will not want to miss another exciting matchup vs the Sooners.
