Too many times people misquote, misappropriate and misunderstand scriptures in the Bible, and most of this is due to not studying the Bible thoroughly or understanding how to study, and then sometimes it is from just plain not remembering scriptures properly. For example many people say "the truth shall set you free", but Jesus said "the truth shall make you free".
