Ep. #164: This Sickness is for the Glory of God John 11:1-26
Manage episode 412652712 series 2992320
In today’s study, we are introduced to a sick man named Lazarus, who has 2 sisters, Mary and Martha. They sent word to Jesus that Lazarus was very sick, and then something odd happens. The Lord tarries a while before He goes to them! Jesus explained to the disciples that this was not a sickness unto death, but so that the Son of God might be glorified. Jesus finally arrived… 4 days late, and Lazarus is already in the tomb, and mourners are everywhere! Jesus claimed that Lazarus would rise again, and then He made some pretty big claims… but in our Q&A segment, we were asked a heart-rending question: I am not a believer any longer, but I do have a question for you: The Bible says that God is not the Author of confusion, so why is there so much confusion among the church?
