This week on the podcast, Rev. Daniel Hawkins is joined by Rev. Edlen Cowley and Rev. Philip Rhodes, members of delegation for the North and Central Texas Conferences of the UMC. They reflect on past jurisdictional conferences marked by a spirit of unity and hope, which they wish will carry over into General Conference 2020 in 2024. Edlen gives us an in-depth look at the "Three R's" we hope to see voted on at General Conference and Philip encourages churches to remain focused on our mission of seeking a loving, just, and free world God imagines for all people and to maintain hope in The United Methodist Church's future, regardless of the outcomes of General Conference.

The previous episodes in this series are episode 46 and 47 “What's Happening at General Conference 2020 in 2024: Part 1 & 2”
