As the popular saying goes “Expectation is the root of all heartache.”

Well, if you plan on securing podcast interviews with the expectation that they will be published immediately, you can expect some heartache.

That’s not to say that podcast episodes never go live swiftly after the interview takes place. There are exceptions, of course.

But when you begin your podcast interview journey, it is important to understand what the process actually looks like and set realistic expectations, especially if you have a launch or release planned.
