Screen shot 2016-05-09 at 7.19.48 PMFor so many fans, the untimely passing of Prince has called for tribute of the man and his music. So this week, the syndicated broadcast radio show “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight” devoted the show to his purple highness. Just click on the link at the bottom of this posting, to hear the podcast of the entire broadcast.

Of course, you’ll hear some of Prince’s top hits, including “Little Red Corvette,” “Raspberry Beret,” “1999” and we close out the show with “Purple Rain.”

Prince was a tremendous musician, sometimes playing all of the instruments on his tracks. There’s a story that, when Eric Clapton was asked what it’s like to be the best guitar player in the world, he said “I don’t know, go ask Prince.” Carolyn’s podcast tribute features a rare acoustic guitar set, consisting of a Medley starting with “Cream.”

Many other artists have had monster hits with songs Prince wrote, from “I Feel for You,” by Chaka Khan, to “Nothing Compares 2 U” by Sinead O’Connor.

So dress yourself in purple, bust out your best dance moves, and click below to hear the podcast of the Prince Tribute show.https://carolynfoxshollywood.files.wordpress.com/2016/05/carolyn-foxs-hollywood-spotlight-198.mp3
