You may have heard about the thousands of veterans that traveled to Standing Rock recently, providing support for the Native Americans protesting the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Before the veterans had a chance to make a powerful physical stand in between the security/armed forces and the protesters, the US Army Corps of Engineers, with support of President Obama, revoked the permit that allowed the pipeline's construction. Joseph Pritchard of Morganton is one of those veterans, and we talk with him both before and after the experience.
Opening music provided by The Spiral of PAVE Music Group from Asheville, NC.
