Hola, chica. The boys finally return with the Summer of Bangers. We are joined by Michael Mann scholar and good friend Connor to talk about Mann’s audacious, gritty reimagining of his classic 80s tv show. We also talk go-fast boats, Nazis, bespoke suits, and Grand Theft Auto.
Also a lot of moaning and groaning while trying to explain how impossibly beautiful this movie is. Later this week the catch up continues when another friend joins us to discuss the bugfuck insane 2013 horror/thriller The Guest.
Ben also gets the song wrong during the boat scene to Cuba it’s actually Moby and Patti LaBelle. We recorded late and I’ll do better.
