Certified Triathlon Coach TK discusses ways in which swimming can improve one’s run cadence. Athletes and Triathletes of all ages experience damage in one’s ligaments and joints and as a result, some are unable to continue their love for running. Instead of reducing or eliminating the love of running one has, an alternative is using swimming as an alternative.
Swimming has so many benefits that are unknown and under utilized, it does not benefit most. However, if an individual is experiencing difficulty from the pounding of the pavement, swimming is an excellent alternative.
Additionally, triathletes normally use swimming and running through one set of lens, that is for training purposes only. Forunately, swimming is an excellent way in which to increase one’s run cadence in the power through the use of specific drills.
